This award recognizes educators who elevate educational standards, innovate teaching practices, and enhance learning environments for students.

The award celebrates the dedication and impact of educational professionals, including administrators, by acknowledging their significant contributions to the field of education.  Individuals will be recognized for their dedication and persistent eorts to improve the quality of education and show an appreciation for those consistently striving to raise educational standards, innovate teaching practices, and/or enhance the learning environments for their students.

Awardees will receive a one-time $2,500 grant for professional development, a commemorative plaque, and public recognition through a press release.

Eligibility for Nomination:

Any educator, administrator, or staff member, whether full-time or part-time, currently employed at an Independent School serving students from pre-kindergarten through grade 12, is eligible for nomination.

Nomination Process:

Nominations must be submitted by colleagues who work with the nominee at their current Independent School. Submission can be made through the online form available on the Commitment to Excellence webpage.
