London, United Kingdom Jul 2, 2024 (Issuewire.com) - For those who don't like any of the candidates, or despise one or two, a new colouring book has been released on Amazon. Created entirely by Ai, this series of familiar political images are presented as a colouring book to vandalize, deface and otherwise decorate to your heart's content. Horns, mustaches, glasses, and anything else can be added to the images for the purposes of amusement, relieving frustration, and finding a way to 'protest quietly at home' in line with the wishes of the government with the April 2024 guidance and regulations restricting legal protest activity. Created by a subversive not-for-profit as a work of satire, this paper colouring book will be available to purchase on Amazon this week.
Created by Alice Hunter of unicornhunting.blog, a not-for-profit site dedicated to helping the unconventional souls of London to fashion their best version of alternative living with guidance, reviews, and a hefty dose of satire, this will be the second book released on Amazon.
The colouring book features 60 pages of images created entirely with Ai as a work of political satire. It features familiar images reminiscent of a selection of political candidates, in addition to dark images of how Ai views modern Britain and the experiences the general population has endured over the past fourteen years.
Political satire has long been a very British form of satire, so the colouring book has been created to allow people to make their own caricatures and vent some of their frustrations with life, the economy, and those in power in a healthy, creative, and peacable way.
The restrictions inherent in the current model of British democracy mean we often have to choose between the lesser of two evils, creating a dispirited and apathetic nation without an outlet for their frustration.
The UK General Election 2024 Colouring Book gives people a harmless way to engage and be a part of this nation's history, in the grandest of its traditions: some accessible comic relief.
